Your Friend & Your Guide
Hi artistic folks!
I’m Jovy Merryl and I want to guide you in reigniting your creative selves.
This medium has given me so many opportunities I never thought could be possible. I became an ambassador of Nevskaya Palitra, one of the first Certified Silver Brush Educators in Asia, conducted in-person and private workshops and collaborated with respected brands all over the world. And a book deal!
My first book, The Beginner’s Guide to watercolor is scheduled to publish by Fall 2021.
But the most important of them all is this medium has given me a new perspective in life, countless hours of self-care and a medium to communicate. And I want to share all of the tips and how-to with you.
This exclusive In-Person Workshop with me is a fun learning experience designed to provide the participants with the most comprehensive approach to watercolor painting through easy to follow exercises and frame-worthy projects.
Classes are ideal for small groups who are looking for a relaxing and creative activity for team building, family bonding, bridal shower or guided art jam. These watercolor workshops are perfect for beginners with no prior experience in art or even for those who wants to take it to the next level.

Frame-Worthy Watercolour Painting
Every scene in every painting conveys different stories to tell and this course will help you translate that own story into a wonderful piece of watercolor painting.
I believe that we are all creative, it’s just that most of us have been told that we won’t survive the “real world” by being artsy and we have to be “practical. Learning something like watercolors can ignite that creativity back and reconnect us to the artists we once were.
Watercolor painting helped me see things differently, it helped me to unwind and escape the daily stresses of life. It taught me how to slow down and be patient. Watercolor painting for me is self-care.
In these classes it is important that we have fun and learn at the same time!
I will be your guide every step of the way and we will embrace mistake and we celebrate imperfection.
I understand the struggles
As a self-taught watercolorist, I enjoyed the privilege of getting to know this medium through first-hand experience in the early days of my creative journey. I learned almost everything the hard way, so trust me when I say I know the struggles, I know the frustrations and I’m happy to share tips to help you overcome these challenges.
